Participants are needed for the main phase of my dissertation study, “From Stuck to Spontaneous: A mixed-methods review of a Video-Based Psychodrama Self-Help Course to Enhance Creativity” The study explores whether psychodrama tools—traditionally practiced with a trained facilitator—can be meaningfully adapted into a self-guided, video-based self-help course for everyday life. The course is designed to support creativity, spontaneity, and new responses to places where people may feel stuck. Following a successful pilot study, I am now recruiting a larger group of 60 adults age 18+ to participate.

This is a 5-day, video-guided psychodrama self-help course that helps participants explore one area where they feel stuck, access their own creativity, and develop supportive inner roles with practical next steps they can keep using in daily life. This is a self-paced, video-based course, and participants with or without prior psychodrama experience are warmly welcome.

The study is expected to begin about May 20-June 1, eligible participants will receive the confirmed start date and full instructions a few days in advance. The study takes 10 days in total: 5 days of watching short course videos at your own pace (approximately 1 hour per day), followed by 5 days of practicing your personalized follow-up plan (about 20 minutes per day).

Privacy: All responses are confidential and will be reported only in summary form.

Participation is voluntary, and there is no compensation for taking part in the study.
